Frequently asked questions

How fast is your turnaround?

Your documents go straight to the translator, with no middlemen. Standard Spanish-English delivery is 1 to 2 business days for 1 to 3 pages. Priority delivery (+25%) is available, subject to availability and document review.

Can we pay with a monthly invoice or a purchase order?

Yes. Each document is tagged with your internal Matter ID or client docket number at intake and appears as an itemized line item on one consolidated monthly invoice, payable by ACH or firm check under payment terms agreed with each business or institution. Purchase orders (PO) are accepted. Your own content (manuals, training, recurring work) is quoted from 9 cents a word, with volume pricing.

What happens if the receiving office questions the translation?

If the issue is a translation or formatting error on our part, we fix it for free, as a priority. The certificate also includes the translator's name, address, and phone number, so the receiving office knows who stands behind the translation.

Who does the translations?

Jorge Cardona, founder and lead translator, translates and signs every certificate. He has experience in legal, judicial, and government translation between Spanish and English. Every translation goes through a double review and verification before delivery, and we use CAT tools such as XTM Cloud and glossaries to keep terminology consistent.

Can you provide a no-cost trial translation for our firm or school district?

Yes. To see our work, we translate and certify the first 2 pages of one real document free, once per business or institution: for example, a document from an upcoming hearing, petition or IEP meeting. Use the free sample form on this page.

Which rules apply to the certificates Fidelis issues?

USCIS filings are prepared under 8 CFR § 103.2(b)(3). Immigration court exhibits are prepared under 8 CFR § 1003.33 and Chapter 2.3 of the Immigration Court Practice Manual (specifying exhibit-level scope and direct contact info). Our translations help school districts meet Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and IDEA Part B requirements.
