What the rules require

  1. In non-detained cases, filings are due at least 30 days before the hearing. EOIR restored that deadline on February 14, 2025.

EOIR Immigration Court Practice Manual, chapter 2.1 ↗
  2. The certificate includes the translator's address and phone number, and names each document when it covers several.

  3. For USCIS, the translation is full and certified as complete and accurate. No notary is required.
